Multi-Tenancy for
Scale Computing HyperCore
Turn your HyperCore clusters into a revenue-generating platform. Edge Command gives MSPs the power to offer VPS, IaaS, and managed services to customers from a single pane of glass.
Scale Computing is Powerful.
But Managing Multiple Customers?
HyperCore is built for simplicity. But when you're an MSP with dozens of customers on the same cluster, or an enterprise with multiple business units, things get complicated.
Edge Command Changes Everything
Finally, true multi-tenancy for Scale Computing HyperCore
True Multi-Tenancy
Isolate customers with dedicated resource pools and access controls. Each tenant sees only their VMs.
Single Pane of Glass
Manage every HyperCore cluster from one unified console, whether it's at the edge, in a datacenter, or at a customer site. No more juggling interfaces.
Burst to the Cloud
When on-prem capacity runs out, seamlessly expand workloads to our datacenter infrastructure. Same experience, more resources.
DRaaS Built In
Replicate VMs from edge to cloud for disaster recovery. Block-level, incremental backups keep your customers protected without the complexity.
Cloud Link Security
Encrypted overlay networking connects your clusters without exposing them to the internet. No VPN complexity, no firewall rules.
Tiny Footprint
The Edge Command virtual appliance needs just 1 vCPU, 512MB RAM, and under 2.5GB disk. Deploy it anywhere in minutes.
From Cluster to Cloud in Three Steps
Connect your HyperCore infrastructure and start managing it like a true cloud platform.
Deploy the Virtual Appliance
Import our lightweight VM to your HyperCore cluster. It auto-connects via Cloud Link with no firewall changes needed.
Create Tenants & Assign Resources
Set up customer accounts with resource quotas, access controls, and branding. They see only what's theirs.
Manage & Scale
Provision VMs, monitor usage, track resources. When you need more capacity, burst seamlessly to our cloud.

Frequently Asked Questions
What Scale Computing versions are supported?
Edge Command works with HyperCore 9.x and above. The virtual appliance runs on any cluster with at least 1 vCPU, 512 MB RAM, and 2.5 GB storage available.
How does Cloud Link connectivity work?
Cloud Link creates an encrypted overlay network between your cluster and our management platform. It works through NAT, corporate firewalls, and doesn't require any inbound ports. Just outbound HTTPS.
Can I manage clusters at customer sites?
Absolutely. That's a primary use case. Deploy the Edge Command appliance at each customer site and manage all of them from a single console. Each customer sees only their resources. Note: Each customer cluster requires its own Edge Command subscription based on the physical CPUs in their chassis.
What happens if Cloud Link disconnects?
VMs keep running locally because Cloud Link is for management, not VM operation. When connectivity resumes, status syncs automatically. You can also access HyperCore directly during an outage.
Can I burst workloads to the cloud?
Yes. When on-prem capacity runs low, you can provision VMs at any of our datacenters offering HyperCore from the same console. Same workflow, instant capacity.
Scale Computing Multi-Tenancy: The Missing Piece
Scale Computing HyperCore is renowned for its simplicity. A three-node cluster that a junior admin can manage. But simplicity has limits, and multi-tenancy is where HyperCore stops and Edge Command begins.
If you've searched for "Scale Computing multi-tenancy" or "HyperCore multi-tenant," you've probably come up empty. That's because HyperCore wasn't designed for MSPs or shared environments. It assumes one organization, one cluster, one admin team.
Edge Command changes that equation. It's the first platform purpose-built to bring true multi-tenancy to Scale Computing infrastructure, with tenant isolation, resource quotas, usage tracking, and a customer self-service portal.
Why MSPs Choose Edge Command
Managed Service Providers love Scale Computing for the same reasons their customers do: it's reliable, it's simple, and it just works. But running HyperCore for multiple customers? That's where things get complicated.
Without multi-tenancy, MSPs resort to workarounds: separate clusters per customer (expensive), manual VM tagging (error-prone), spreadsheet-based resource tracking (time-consuming). Edge Command eliminates all of that. One console, all customers, automatic isolation.
Enterprise Use Cases
Multi-tenancy isn't just for MSPs. Enterprise IT teams use Edge Command to manage Scale Computing deployments across business units, departments, or geographic regions. Each group gets their own resource pool and self-service access. IT keeps central visibility and control.
And when on-prem capacity runs out? Edge Command makes cloud bursting seamless. Provision VMs in our datacenter with the same workflow you use for local resources. True hybrid cloud, powered by HyperCore.
